We all know that sticking your middle finger in the air isn’t the wisest choice anywhere in the world. It’s become universal. But did you know, for example, that when you indicate there are two of something, you’re often swearing at people in Britain? The peace sign in reverse is our equivalent of flipping the bird.
There are a whole load of others too.
Rock on, right?
Wrong. It means that your wife’s doing some dirty things on the side that she shouldn’t be doing. Don’t throw up the rock fist at anyone in Brazil, Spain, Italy or Portgual.
For me, this is someone singing ‘I’m a little teapot’ very sweetly. But in France, this is someone demanding that you shut the hell up because you’ve been talking way too much shit. Try getting a nursery rhyme out of that.
