I hate breakfast TV. Morning news shows are so goddamn cheery that it makes me sick. And you can guarantee that every so often, when they don’t have a news report on a car crash or a talented two-headed dog to fill in the time, they’ll throw in some saccharine garbage about a couple that love each other and want to propose on live television.
Every time this happens I want to be violently sick. You see, I’m all about people not embarassing themselves in public. I think people should be reserved and sensible, and not open themselves up to being rejected very publicly.
Sadly, some people aren’t so self-aware as I am. They shoot for the Moon, and they miss badly. What happens is a space-sized disaster, with debris burning up and plummeting to earth.
Big screen proposal = big time failure
