Building stuff is really incredible when you think about it. You turn a barren patch of land into a 2D sketch on a piece of graph paper through the mind of an architect. A construction manager then has to decipher that into a realistic way of approaching the work. He has to tell his staff of builders what to do, and they have to make it happen. It’s a bit like Chinese whispers – so no wonder sometimes things go wrong along the way…
